Sunshine Farm Market & Produce Schedule
100 Acre Farm
45 acres fruits & vegetables!

DIRECTIONS TO OUR FARM

What's new on the farm!  We have been busy with some major fruit plantings for 2008. This April we planted over 20,000 new strawberry plants, 1200 new raspberry plants, 1200 Blueberry bushes, and over 250 Peach trees during the last few years. Lots of fresh fruit  to go with your fresh vegies!  Check us out!

We invite you to visit our stand to view our fresh fruits and vegetables and enjoy our wide variety of homemade ice cream. Come visit our bakery with pies, loafs and Farmer Jim’s sweet corn pizza. Be sure to check us out during our primetime...it is a short season in New England, and you don’t want to miss out!

May opens our season with bedding plants, “proven winners”, herbs, vegetable plants, geraniums & over 900 hanging baskets grown in our 3 greenhouses.

As June arrives and summer approaches, the farm stand market opens with our own greens (lettuce, spinach, scallions, and radishes) and of course our own strawberries. We also carry local eggs, cheese, bread, honey and other fruits & vegetables. Enjoy pies, cookies & breads baked fresh from our bakery. Our three acres of U-Pick strawberries starts in early June and is open every day. $2.25 per pound by the tray, $2.00 minimum purchase per person.

During the month of July, sweet corn starts! 12 different varieties are grown over our more than 17 acres and harvested through early October.  Tomatoes & peaches also start mid-July. We grow many types of fresh salad greens & lettuce and offer a fresh supply all summer. Remember: “picked fresh tastes best”!

August is vegetable month in Massachusetts with a bountiful supply of corn, tomatoes, lettuce, squash, beans, peppers, eggplant, peaches, and field-grown fresh flower bunches & herbs. We also offer a selection of cold crisp salads made fresh to go.

As summer comes to an end and September nears, this is truly the best month for our homegrown produce. The long days of summer and cool fall nights produce our sweetest corn (delectable & cameo) & “celebrity” tomatoes as well as many heirloom & cherry tomatoes. Carrots, beets, broccoli, beans, winter squash and lettuce truly taste the best this month. Not to mention U-Pick raspberries daily picking.  Fall decorations: get your home decorated with our corn stalks, Indian corn, gourds & pumpkins and our famous field grown mums - over 2000 grown on the farm.

October brings pumpkins galore! We grow over 70 tons of pumpkins here on the farm. Weekend hayrides for $3.00 per person, bring the family and enjoy the fall foliage. Apples, cider, pies & produce at the stand daily 9am-6pm.

November - don’t forget to order your Thanksgiving pies early! We bake to order for pickup days before the holiday. Our season comes to an end in December with Christmas trees, wreaths & roping.

Family owned & operated offering fresh fruit & vegetables grown in season...be sure to visit us!
